Celebrating the Life of Lenny from Honesdale

We attended a beautiful gathering of family and friends this past weekend to commemorate the life of Lenny and of course, Sally Weiss.

The family stayed at The Settler's Inn and shared stories and updates of each other's lives and celebrated the cherished memory of Lenny together with the Lenny of New York and his family.

At the beautiful little temple on the Main Street in Honesdale, friends and family gathered with sadness bu also joy in celebration of a life well lived.

Rabbi Kleinman eloquently lead the service with profound reflections and a shared Qaddish exalting God for bringing Peace on Earth and into our lives.

After a priest, smartly dressed and with interesting glasses - a friend of Lenny's spoke of his experience knowing the Weiss family and Lenny as his optometrist - the Rabbi asked for others to share their cherished memories. It was an emotional moment and the family rose and spoke beautifully and from their heart, including Julia, Emily, Harry and Jimmy.

We then gathered at the Golf Club, Lenny and Sally's home away from home and shared a beautiful gathering of even more friends and family as well as co workers who travelled from afar.
