Prize-winning author and Emmy-Award winner Simon Schama embarks on an incredible exploration of the Jewish experience from ancient times to the present day in a five-part series, The Story of the Jews

A Columbia University history and art history professor, Schama takes us on a 5000-year-journey in search of what defines us as a people in this PBS presentation, which originally aired in March/April 2014. The website offers all episodes, along with interactive maps, a photo gallery, an interactive timeline, a piece on the Sepphoris Mosaic, a segment on Jews and the arts, a gallery of images of Judea in exploration of the diaspora.
